Jarratt, VA

The small town of Jarratt, VA, is located just west of I-95 along Blue Star Highway, about 10 miles north of Emporia. Incorporated in 1938, Jarratt covers a land area of just 1.2 square miles, home to a population of less than 1,000 people.

Today the Greensville Correctional Center is located just a couple miles outside of Jarratt to the southwest, separated by Hickory Swamp. The town council of Jarratt makes their meeting room and clubhouse available on a first-come, first-served basis.
